Since the printer was not expensive, its print quality was surprisingly good. Of course, it still cannot be compared with more expensive professional equipment, but the printed documents look very decent, and it is enjoyable that they do not get smudged. While the Stylus TX119 is not fast, it is also not the slowest laser printer I’ve seen, which means it works quickly enough to perform small tasks at home or in the office. Although the printer does not cost much money, its cartridges are impressively expensive. Unfortunately, the situation with most inkjet printers is precisely this: the technology is affordable, but the ink is costly. If you print as often as I do, this may indeed be a significant drawback when choosing a printer. Thus, Epson Stylus TX119 is a relatively budget and well-balanced printer, but one should be prepared for the significant long-term costs of replacing cartridges.
